As a general reference, modern full sovereigns are approximately 22.05 mm in diameter, while modern half sovereigns are approximately 19.30 mm. Older, commemorative or non-UK coins may differ, so always verify the specification of your individual coin.

Usually a product described as a “mount” is the jewellery setting only. The sovereign coin and chain may be sold separately unless the individual product page clearly says they are included. Check the listing carefully before ordering.
Also check the bail size when choosing a chain. The chain end fitting must pass through the bail, and the chain should be strong enough for the combined weight of the mount and coin.
